For the last 10 years, credit union staff members have volunteered their time to bus tables, take photos of kids on Santa’s lap and help with prize raffles. Volunteers from the Renown Foundation were on hand along with Rocky Raccoon, the credit union’s youth account mascot.
A special thank you goes to Model Dairy and US Foods for their generous food donations and to Remedee’s Restaurant for hosting the event. Their support makes helps make “Breakfast with Santa” a huge success each year.
Since 1997, Frontier Financial Credit Union members have raised $115,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. As part of the “Credit Unions for Kids” program, funds are raised throughout the year with the sale of candy bars, CMN bracelets, a Skip-a-Payment offer, and “Breakfast with Santa.”
The Children’s Miracle Network is an international nonprofit organization that generates funds through awareness programs for the benefit of children served by its associated hospitals. CMN’s pledge is that 100 percent of locally generated funds stay in the community in which they were made to benefit participating hospitals, such as Renown Health. CMN has been helping hospitalized children since 1983.
