RENO — The Rotary Club of Reno Centennial Sunset will present the fifth annual Taste of Reno Tahoe on July 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the National Automobile Museum, 10 S. Lake St. in Reno. Admission is $75 for the main tasting or $125 for the VIP event, which includes a six or seven course pairing of wine varietals and appetizers.
Tickets are on sale now at www.tasteofrenotahoe.org. All proceeds fund local and international service projects of the club.
The Taste of Reno Tahoe is designed for the most discriminating palates, featuring original gourmet creations by creative chefs from the finest area restaurants, expertly paired with rare, premium wines of selected varietals from many of the most highly regarded boutique wineries in California.
“What makes the event unique is that you’ll meet chefs and wine makers and really get to know them,” event chairman David Zybert said. “You can ask questions and learn more than you’ve ever known about fine wines and the foods they’re paired with.”
In addition to the wine and food pairings, the event offers both live and silent auctions and special guests.
Both the VIP event and the main tasting have limited admission, so it’s recommended that tickets be purchased in advance. Visit www.tasteofrenotahoe.org to order tickets.
