Police seek info on gang shooting

RENO –– Saturday at about 5 p.m., a 17 year old was in the street in front of 1180 Virbel Lane when a blue passenger car with tinted windows occupied by at least two suspects drove westbound onto Virbel Lane from Neil Road.

The driver of the suspect vehicle fired three to four shots at the victim striking him several times.

According to police, the victims injuries are non-life threatening and this incident appears to be gang related.

The suspect is only described as an unknown race male wearing a ball cap.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information about the shooting. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to contact the Regional Gang Unit at 334-3852 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
