SITM is offering at least eight scholarships to graduating high school seniors continuing their education. Applicants need not be university or college bound, but must be persuing some type of post secondary education and training program. Awards are for $2,000 and must be used in the 2010-2011 academic year. Minimum requirements include a 2.5 GPA, post secondary education plans and a demonstrated financial need.
A complete application is available by calling Ann Steckline at 826-2133. Applications are due by Friday.
All scholarship winners will be recognized at the 23rd annual Thanks To Youth Award Luncheon May 27, at the Atlantis Hotel Casino Resort.
