On Thursday shortly after 8:12 a.m., Reno Police officers responded to the 600 block of Denslowe Drive on the report of a stabbing. Officers arrived and found a male victim who was suffering from a deep laceration to the leg. He was bleeding profusely and officers immediately began to administer first aid until the ambulance arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital where it was learned (at this time) that the injury does not appear to be life threatening, although hospital staff remain guarded. The victim will not be identified pending an investigation

One of the suspects in this case has been identified as Scott Patrick Ryan, 42. He is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown, currently has a shaved head or close buzz cut (pictured above).

Detectives are also seeking a second, as of yet, unidentified suspect who was the driver of the above listed vehicle. The second suspect is described as a white male in his 30s to early 40s, tall and thin build, brown hair (unknown length) and possible facial hair.

Police urge anyone with information regarding the circumstances surrounding this crime, or who may be responsible, to contact the Reno Police Department Robbery / Homicide Unit at 334-2115 or remain anonymous by contacting Secret Witness at 322-4900.
